Hello! - I’m Paizley and I’m so glad you have found The KC Appraisal Company!

You may be wondering what those letters behind my name stand for?

 The G.G. stands for my title Graduate Gemologist, GIA for the Gemological Institute of America where I earned in and NAJA  represents that I'm a member of the exclusive National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. 

I have been blessed to turn a passion into a career. I started in the fine jewelry industry in my home state of North Carolina in 2013. I was thankful to have worked with estate jewelry primarily in the beginning, and I have a great appreciation for antique pieces. In 2015 I moved to London, U.K. to attend their campus of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). There I earned the Graduate Gemologist diploma (G.G.) which is the most prestigious and rigorous education and training in our industry.

 In 2016, life brought me to Kansas City where I have worked in the jewelry industry ever since. I believe my experience in sales, buying, wholesale, and custom work give me a well rounded fine jewelry back ground for appraising. Along with appraising for private jewelers in KC, I have also serviced ten states and thirty-five jewelry stores in the Midwest with appraisal services and appraisal special events. I have written over 7,000 fine jewelry appraisals and examined many more.
